Appointments at Our Office

At our office, we believe that raising a child is a rewarding--as well as a challenging --experience for a parent. Our goal is to help you enjoy this experience and to ensure that your child's full potential is reached. We believe that healthy children are the results of healthy families and communities.

Appointments

To help provide timely service to our patients, we prefer to schedule all visits. If you are later than 15 minutes for your appointment, we will try to work you back into the schedule. Out of courtesy to our other patients, we may be forced to ask you to reschedule your appointment.

Sick Child Visits

We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us. Please call our office ahead of time, early morning if possible, so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting. If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.

Walk-Ins

Patients who walk in with a non-emergency condition will be fit into the existing schedule as best as possible, or they will be asked to return later in the day when the schedule allows.

Emergencies

If an emergency should arise, please call 911. Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc. In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, mild fractures, sprains), go to your nearest Emergency room or urgent care center. For further instructions, please call our office.

Well Child Visits

To keep your children healthy, it is important to bring them in for regular checkups, along with their shot records. We recommend that you call 2 weeks in advance so you may choose the date that best fits your needs.

Insurance

Please have your card with you at the time of your visit. If we file your claim, you are responsible for the co-pay at the time of visit, along with any deductibles and co-insurance that are due. If we are not a provider for your insurance, if you are not insured or we do not file with your insurance company, you may be responsible for the entire charge at the time of service.
